Mama Ada’s is a small, family-owned business in North Philadelphia, specializing in the manufacturing of frozen pasta products. We specialize in dumplings, pierogis, and egg rolls. We recently expanded our line of products to boost our brand and we are now branching out into new business opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

IMMEDIATE availability for a Food Factory Manager. Experience in working in food production/packaging/machine operating and cleaning industrial machinery is a plus. The employee will be responsible for a variety of tasks from food prep, production, packaging, pallet assembly, cleaning, along with managing factory floor and workers. The Manager is in charge of administering the food service program in a multiple-site program according to policies, and federal/state requirements.

JOB INCLUDES:

· Prepping factory for USDA inspection prior to production start time

· Food production line work

· Packaging products

· Quality control of products

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and at times chaotic environment

· Ability to listen and complete tasks under certain time constraints upon request by Supervisor

· MUST be a team player, organized, and able to listen to safety protocols and USDA requirements

· Must be a quick learner

· Must be reliable and punctual. Lateness or no shows are not tolerated.

· Standing and moving quickly for long periods of time

· Machine operating (experience is necessary)

· Pallet assembly/ loading/ and unloading

· Assembling and disassembling food machinery

· Cleaning machinery and factory post-production

· Additional work when requested by Supervisor

· Forklift certification is a PLUS

· OSHA 10hr certification is a PLUS

· Mechanical and/or electrical skills are a PLUS

JOB TYPE

Full-Time

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr depending on experience.
