The Royal Group, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a temp to hire Production Supervisor (1st Shift) to support our Lakeland, FL (Knights Station, Retail) facility. You will be eligible to be hired for full-time employment between 60-90 days after your start date. As a Production Supervisor, you will handle projects and execute job assignments provided by the Production Supervisor. As work progresses, you will monitor and lead what is being produced to ensure it meets the overall assigned objective. You will continuously communicate with the Production Supervisor to ensure that any issues related to any project is communicated in a timely manner.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Participates in evaluating and assigning the recourse for a given project.
• Assists with time study analysis and the scheduling of projects.
• Check items on the BOM and ensure that all information is needed for proper execution.
• Identify tasks and tools appropriate for each project.
• Provides the training and insights on the assembly of the new item.
• Participates in the assembly of the first article and provides insight on any issues or opportunities found.
• Continually oversees all safety concerns for the workforce.
• Evaluates performance of Line Leaders and overall workforce.
• Follows all projects until completed.
• Reviews efficiency results daily regarding any given line and works with the Production Control Manager in adjusting improvements per line efficiencies overall.
• Leads by example in the continuous teaching and training of Line Leaders, ensuring the understanding of the overall objective to any given project.

THE ROYAL GROUP REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one to three months of related supervisory experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
