Your Impact: In this position, you will lead and motivate a team to execute daily productions schedules while continuously improving value stream Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Specific Responsibilities

• Establish and execute kanbans, visual triggers, etc. that enable one-piece flow philosophy
• Collaborate with planner to build and execute daily production schedule, with emphasis on 5 day outlook
• Lead daily value stream kickoff to communicate clear order commitments and potential road-blocks with entire team
• Participate in daily site Production Meetings to communicate performance, commitment, and to ask for help
• Execute servant leadership via observation and personal engagement in daily Gemba Walks
• Identify and eliminate waste from value stream

Constantly manage performance of the value stream and each associate

• Identify skill gaps and build development matrix for each associate; execute
• Load data into Lean OEE metric; utilize to identify areas for improvement; drive action to improve
• Apply company policies related to safety, quality, attendance, etc.
• Understand 80/20 parts, customers, vendors, etc. running through the value stream

Requirements:

• High school degree required or equivalent; 2-4 year degree preferred
• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows
• 3-5 years production experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment
• 3-5 years’ experience supervising manufacturing teams
