WE ARE HIRING FOR 2nd SHIFT PRODUCTION OPERATORS

Starting wage is $16.50 plus $2.00 Shift Differential. Career Progression and Wage Increase Plan upon hiring.

$2,000 Sign On Bonus

Work Schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Mon - Fri.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Operates and tends machines that perform one or more packaging functions, both assembly and downstream packaging automation equipment.
  • Starts machines and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machines. Stops machines and reports malfunction to process technician or supervisor.
  • Stages packaging material or WIP components; ensures quality of finished product, stamps and packs on assembly and downstream packaging automation equipment.
  • Performance visual and basic dimensional inspections to determine overall acceptability and quality of ware.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to and communicate to others all plant Health, Safety and Quality guidelines and GMP.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Adhere to Safety and Quality policies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Wear company issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as uniforms, gloves, hairnets.

Production Operator role related Job Requirements:

  • Read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Apply basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or visual/diagram form.
  • Good organizational and communication skills to work independently and also in a team environment.
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as Comparator, Dial indicator, Go/No Go gauges. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
  • Sound judgment - ability to work efficiently with many competing demands.
  • Ability to communicate their job-related functions with other employees, customers and auditors as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor.
  • The ability to read, write, and comprehend information provided.
