We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift Production Operators!
Competitive Pay: $25.18 to $31.72/hr. plus .40 shift differential
Materion employees have the opportunity to do exciting and interesting work helping our customers produce innovative products and services that you use every day. At our Shoemakersville, PA location you will be able to assist in a variety of metal processing services.
As a Production Operator your duties include:
- Maintaining an awareness of safe work practices and prevent conditions that may result in an unsafe situation or harm the environment.
- Setting up and operating various industrial machinery which may include Rolling Mills, Annealers, Slitters, Draw Blocks, etc.
- Entering production data in SAP software system, ensuring accuracy in time and weight applied.
- Operating forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload material on storage racks while observing the appropriate weight capacities.
- Monitoring condition of product passing through machinery and perform proper adjustments to ensure proper product quality.
