Job Title: Production Associate 1 1st Shift

Position Reports to: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly $15.40-15.95

• This is a permanent, full-time position that is eligible for enrollment in company benefits after 60 days and 40 hours Vacation after 90 days.
• Hours 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday (January – April) Off Season
• Hours 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Saturday (May-December) Season

Production line associates clean, cut, inspect, package and label commodities from the raw stage through final product while maintaining a clean and contaminant free worksite. Applicable department/area of responsibility training to be completed and maintained.

Requirements, Expectations & Work Conditions:

• Willing to work in an industrial environment
• Willing to work in highly regulated food service industry

Principal Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Serve the needs of customers and all stakeholders
• Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policies
• Performs floor cleaning in raw or finished goods area using a squeegee, broom, and shovel
• Trimming stems and tops of from produce
• Place liners in cardboard totes
• Ensure produce is labeled correctly
• Follow SOP’s and safety standards
• Follow GMP rules and Federal and State Regulations
• Able to work in a hot, cold, or wert environment
• Distribute product evenly into dicer

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Above average skills in attendance

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent, preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Ability to write legible reports

Physical Demands of the Position:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee must possess manual dexterity required for using hand tools and operating machinery; lift up to 30 pounds required; able to stand or walk for prolonged periods.

Work Environment:

• While performing duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to wet and slippery floors, occasionally moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, variable temperature
