Emmi Dessert USA is a dessert manufacturer consisting of four different entities located in the New York metropolitan area (NY and NJ). In the course of harmonizing of the master data across our four companies, we are looking for a Product Data Specialist, who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a harmonized Product Information Management System for our 600+ SKUs. Further, the Product Data Specialist will be responsible for entering and maintaining product information on external platforms such as OneSync, 1WorldSync as well as customer platforms.

The position is located either in Freeport NY or Wyandanch, NY

Responsibilities

· Work closely with marketing, product management, quality & assurance and IT/web development teams to create a platform that fits the company portfolio and strategy

· Establish a harmonized Product Information Management (PIM) across the Emmi Dessert USA organization

· Manages platform configuration to ensure data is structured, managed, and syndicated accurately and efficiently

· Supports go to market initiatives by ensuring product data is configured and syndicated on time for product launches

· Manages product data on external platforms such as OneSync, 1WorldSync and other customer platforms

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures including, SOP’s and GMP’s

· Preparation of monthly reports on product set ups

Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, ecommerce, technical writing, data analytics, database management or similar focus

· Experience with product data management, new item setup, or product data syndication required, preferably in the food industry

· Prior experience in technical product attribute writing or product data management is preferred

· Moderate Excel skills / Experience working with ERP

· Ability to work within competitive deadlines.

· Detail-oriented / agile personality
