Summary

Lipman Family Farms is seeking a highly motivated, entry level Sales Representative to help grow our business. A Sales Representative will maintain accounts and have overall accountability for their assigned territory, along with the achievement of their established sales goals.

Objective

Maintain contacts with established customers for the purpose of driving profitable sales, supporting the operation department by making on time deliveries. Regularly interact with customers in person at the customer’s site of business. Handle customer issues and concerns in a timely manner. Achieve strategic objectives through the sale of our products with a fleet of trucks to deliver and a customer service team member to partner with our customers.

Job Requirements

Area of responsibility includes:

  • Expand sales of the company’s products and services to existing customers.
  • Execute profitable business plans for managing accounts, individual sales, and communicating account plans, pricing, and assistance to drive sales.
  • Inform Sales Manager of any changes with customers or the market place.
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to manage customer related opportunities.
  • Assist all customers, or potential customers, in a professional, courteous, and reliable manner.
  • Maintain and develop product knowledge while servicing customers.
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of professionalism while conducting business.

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Sales Representative with our company, you must have exceptional self-management skills, along with the ability and desire to attain achievable goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances. A will to win and the ability to work in a competitive and demanding environment is critical.

  • Combination of education and/or experience.
  • One to three years working in a sales/agricultural environment.
  • Must possess the ability to operate a computer using standard office software.
  • Must be able to travel as need dictates.
  • Must possess the ability to work long hours as needed.
  • Bilingual - English//Spanish (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
