Semo Milling, LLC has an excellent opportunity for the position of Night Shift Process Technician.

Are you tired of working a swing shift?? We offer a DEDICATED 12-hour night shift position! You will be required to work every other weekend. The hours are 6PM-6AM with overtime as needed.

We offer an excellent benefit packaging, including health insurance that is paid 100% for the employee (family coverage available at the employee's cost), dental insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and supplemental insurance benefits. All insurance is available the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Paid vacation and personal time and holiday pay are all available after 30 days of employment. We also offer a 401(k) plan with a match after 6 months of employment. Quarterly bonus potential.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, hard working, have the ability to memorize and retain information, and be skilled in sanitation and cleaning practices. The position requires frequent stair climbing and working in a hot and dusty environment.

There is plenty of room for advancement with this position and we are seeking candidates who wish to learn our processes and excel into higher positions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I. Position Purpose

Reporting to the Mill Manager, this position is responsible for functioning as a team member of the mill production crew.

II. Position Responsibilities and Duties

Performing duties as directed by others to ensure the following duties are managed accurately and timely:

Mill Responsibilities

• Execute production process control as directed
• Assist in machinery maintenance and repair
• Work with Lab personnel to ensure quality control protocol is followed
• Maintain mill production area sanitation standards at all times
• Troubleshoot minor production problems
• Monitor key indicator for quality, productivity, and utilization
• Utilize the IMS and SPC where applicable
• Responsible for quality of work within area
• Maintain work environment in a clean and orderly fashion

Quality, Safety and Sanitation

• Ensure customer specifications and needs are achieved.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Adhere to HARPC Plan.
• Maintain work area and sanitation level at a BRC AA level.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

Open Communications to be a team-player and do other tasks as necessary.

III. Essential Skills

This position actively engages in daily operations and is engaged in supporting policies and procedures in accordance with the company Vision, Vales and Strategic Objectives.

Education Level:

High School Diploma or GED

Related Experience:

Superior mechanical aptitude

Team oriented

Previous production experience preferred

Physical and Mental Requirements

Dedicated night shift, 12 hour shifts, every other weekend.

This position requires physical and mental alertness, attentiveness and stamina for the length of an entire 12 hour work shift each day. Occasional to frequent lifting of 50-100 pounds, frequent changing from a seated to standing position and frequent stair climbing are all physical demands of this position. This working environment for this position will include occasional to frequent work in both extreme cold and hot weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
