The Process Improvement Engineer is responsible for documenting, implementing, and maintaining processes to optimize operations, improve quality, and reduce waste. This role works closely with manufacturing engineers, production personnel, and management to ensure all processes are documented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Process Improvement Engineer will document manufacturing and management system processes.
  • Develop time-based work instructions for the manufacturing/ assembling of products.
  • Train teams in the implementation of new processes and work instructions.
  • Develop control plans, process maps, and process FMEA.
  • Implementing suitable software solutions and automating manufacturing processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Driving process innovation.
  • Ensuring that processes comply with safety regulations.
  • Ability to travel to all facilitates.
  • Understanding the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Uses Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Superb analytical thinking.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or in an industry-related field of specialization.
  • Two years' experience in related role is preferred but not required.
  • Six sigma green belt a plus.
