• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, monitor and maintain processes, equipment, and facility systems to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Specify system components or direct modifications of processes, equipment and facilities to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Accountable for on-time delivery and coordination of process engineering projects.
• Investigates equipment and process failures and difficulties to diagnose areas for operational improvement and makes recommendations to appropriate operational personnel.
• Specification, ordering, and managing the installation of major replacement-in-kind equipment within Repair and Maintenance functions at the production center.
• Responsible for working with the R&D and Quality Control team to ensure process improvements meet standards and are implemented into the process.
• Provides technical support to the local plant operations team to assist in optimizing production.
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Manage cost and time constraints, making the information clear to decision makers.
• Perform risk assessments.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions to the operations team.
• Provide training to operations on new processes and controls.
• Ability to demonstrate our company values in everyday work interactions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering or related field is preferred.
• Ability to reads and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
• Proven history in improving supply chain efficiency.
• Experience in fluid flow systems, separation processes and chemical processing.

Travel: approximately 30%

Working Conditions: Oil production plant environment. Exposure to industrial manufacturing facilities that includes dirt, noise, temperature extremes, fumes, and grease.
