As a PRN Program Nurse for our Behavioral Health Program, your focus will be on the 3Cs; Care, Community and Compliance.

  • Care: assesses and monitors clients' health status and physical care needs at admission and while clients are in the program. Completes an admission nursing assessment for every client according to program standards. Communicates relevant clinical and other client care information to the program director, medical director, and treatment team members as necessary and appropriate. Monitors clients on an ongoing basis to identify health needs, problems, and/or symptoms.
  • Community: Engage your local community (hospital staff, providers, and community resources) through education, presentations, and one-on-one encounters, informing them of our program's services and the overall importance of mental health.
  • Compliance: Ensure implementation of compliant therapeutic services for patients utilizing the program, and oversee excellent patient care, including intake assessments, fall assessments, and treatment plan development.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or LVN licensed in the state of practice required
  • Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing required
  • Associates or above required
  • Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
  • Passion for working with Older Adults preferred
