The Sloan School is a Christian, family owned, private preschool and elementary school that has been in operation since 1996. We have a talented and caring staff that work together to ensure that the quality of care and education our students receive each day is the best available to families in our community. All staff members are responsible for helping to maintain a clean, friendly and safe environment, ensuring the health and safety of children in care, as well as communicating effectively and positively with parents. We are currently seeking a new director.

The director has overall responsibility for operation of the school and ensures that the center is operated in accordance with company policies and regulations set forth by state licensing. The director follows operating procedures to provide the best care, education and safe environment for students. The best director for our school will be someone who has a genuine love and respect for the students enrolled in our school, as well as a desire to see the teachers be successful and happy in their classroom. The director must always have a mind for making the school profitable by maintaining current enrollment and seeking to enroll new families in the community.

Director Requirements:
- Must have experience as a director in a licensed childcare facility
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with parents, staff and students
- Must be punctual and reliable

Director Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe and healthy school environment
- Providing excellent customer service to both enrolled and potential families
- Maintaining important documentation for compliance with childcare regulations, health department, city and state ordinances
- Effectively and respectfully managing, guiding, and providing support for a staff of 20-25
- Effectively and regularly communicating with the owners the needs and goings on of the school
- Carrying on a long-standing tradition of excellence in care, education and service
