Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.
Summary:
In Reality Labs, we have a large number of datasets used for Client training, many of which require strict privacy compliance regarding data use, purpose, retention etc. In order to make sure we comply with relevant rules and regulations, we are looking for a Privacy Program Manager to support a number of teams on ensuring privacy compliance of their data. This role will support data project's initialization processes and continued audit and compliance needs.
Job Responsibilities:
" Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
" Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to internal teams.
" Confer with management and engineering staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
" Support data owners in data audits process, ensuring compliance.
" Train and educate data owners on how to manage their data.
" Identify gaps in internal tooling, work with engineering teams to ensure the right tools are built.
Skills:
" Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
" Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
" Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
" Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
" Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
Education/Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
" PMI or PMP certification preferred.
