Position: Sensor Fusion Algorithms Architect
Job description: Emerging business division is looking for proven results driven Algorithms architect of next generation connectivity and sensors to drive next generation solution to connect with AI-based sensing technologies.
Location: Utah-home office or San Diego- Home office
Responsibilities:
Architect embedded C code for embedded systems for various sensor and emerging connected systems.
Develops algorithms using AI/ML and deep learning to deliver seamless decision-based data for systems using various sensors and human machine interfaces
As a Sensor Fusion Algorithm Architect, you will use statistical estimation techniques to produce code and architect, develop, and deploy high quality data products. You will deliver these solutions into user-facing products.
Expect to develop sample code firmware drivers, middleware, and 3rd party integration code
Debug, test, document and deploy code for use by Renesas partners and customers
Train, advise, review, problem-solve, and collaborate with 3rd party development partners
Work with Renesas engineering and marketing team members on product definition, development, test, QA, deployment, maintenance & support
Qualifications:
BS or MS in CS, CE or EE
Deep experience in embedded or experience in running a team of embedded system products.
Hands on Experience as a lead embedded developer
Experience working with 3rd party developers and offshore teams
Expert in embedded C amd Python (Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy)
Knowledge of or some experience designing and implementing deep NN architectures (both convolutional and recurrent) using open-source deep learning frameworks,
Hands-on experience with software engineering processes and tools
RTOS and related stacks / middleware
Excellent communication skills
FW development for Consumer, Industrial, Medical products
Experience developing in Linux environment
Hands-on system bring-up, testing, and debugging skills
Some experience with DevOps tools and infrastructure
Additional Information
- $176,000 - $321,500 annualized salary range (Note: Disclosure as required by SB 1162 (9-27-22) for California)
