PRICING & PROMOTION SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

Will be responsible for monitoring and regulating the Pricing & Promotion for the assign accounts. Evaluate and standardize the comprehensive revenue management strategy in close coordination with the Revenue Management Manager and commercial team, with the aim of generating sustainable value, competitiveness and profitability to the operation (at the portfolio level and distribution channels).

Duties and responsibilities

Should be able to perform various day-to-day duties and responsibilities, such as:

  • Constant review of the prices charged per client in accordance with the guidelines and commercial policies. Validation of discounts granted according to promotion calendar and customer segmentation.
  • Guarantee the correct construction and continuous updating of business intelligence platforms (reports, dashboards, etc.) to consolidate and analyze revenue management indicators, both internal (value chains, price packs, volume, evolution of promotions, etc.) and external (information on industries, categories and channels) that allow price decisions to be made.
  • Provide standardized market indicators to evaluate Iberia’s competitiveness within the competitive environment (market share, price gaps, etc.) in the different categories, brands, and packaging.
  • Lead price raising projects such as research or censuses with internal or external teams in each of the operations to have relevant and updated information on market movements and competition
  • Recommendations / action guidance based on price and cost analysis aligned with strategic priorities to ensure margin.
  • Monitoring of the performance of trade initiatives (discounts and bonuses) and proposes action plans to correct deviations.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company policies and procedures
  • Handling customer issues that might escalate and require a supervisor for management
  • Controlling budget information, overseeing variances and employing corrective measures in the assign accounts
  • Ensure that Pricing & Promotions are perform in a timely manner
  • Establish a dashboard of price increase implementations
  • Administer the Product Master file in the account’s portals
  • Analyze and operate the different requests related to the sales process required by users of the local commercial operation, using as a basis the business policies and procedures to guarantee the quality of the information in our databases and compliance with the Service Level Agreements in time and volume.
  • Ensure the availability of the correct configurations of commercial actions that include prices, discounts, billbacks and free cases; in the different systems in support of the sales force.
  • Ensure Customer Portals are update on a timely basis
