Sterling City FUMC Pre-school is looking to hire qualified and energetic Preschool Teacher's. The ideal candidate is someone who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the children in our program, incorporating our curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school. • Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
• Create activities that are fun and educational for the children
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
• Deliver reports on potential concerns about students to management as needed
• Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students
• Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
• Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
• Work with other teachers to maintain communication with parents
• Serve meals and monitor children during lunch time
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED required
• 1+ years’ child care experience (preferred but not required)
• Must get valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• Caring and compassionate attitude a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
