OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH IN A WONDERFUL KEYSTONE STARS 4 PRESCHOOL PROGRAM!
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and loving individual to be a Preschool Teacher Assistant for ages 3-4, as you help to prepare the class for Pre-Kindergarten. The candidate should enjoy working in a team-teaching environment, as you will work with two other teachers in the classroom.
Do you have a love for teaching and helping children grow? Children Central is now interviewing for a full-time Preschool Teacher Assistant. Most importantly, you must have the passion, patience and LOVE for teaching young children.

Compensation is based on the education degree earned, years of teaching experience and knowledge of Keystone STARS requirements. Be a part of our fun work environment - as our teachers and families love that we are family owned, and not part of a large corporate chain or franchise.

Preschool Teacher Assistant Responsibilities
- Work closely with the other educators in the classroom to create a very nurturing, loving and caring environment.
- Develop a creative program suitable for the children per the curriculum.
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, singing, dancing, art projects, etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional conflicts
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Document daily activities on the app; take photos and videos to send to families
- Good knowledge of Keystone STARS
- Make the day a LOT OF FUN for our children!
