Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

• Must LOVE PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
• Able to relate positively to children, parents and staff in a Christian environment
• Knowledge of developmental stages, typical behaviors, and expectations of 4 1/2 to 5 year-old children
• Ability to meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child
• Experience leading a classroom and creating developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Be a team player
• Assess students and conduct Parent-Teacher Conference
• Submit to various background checks
• Complete and pass TB test, physical examination, and drug screening
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Complete 16 hours of professional development annually. Paid by the preschool.

Start date: Immediate
Weekly Hours: up to 37 hours
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

Compensation: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour based on experience
