We are in search of a Preschool Dance Trainee at Desert Dance Collective Twin Peaks! We are looking for a potential instructor who will assist/substitute our current instructor through May, learn our curriculum, and sign a contract to teach summer classes in June and July and/or preschool classes for our 23/24 Season from August 2023 through May 2024.

Must be available from April 3-May 27 for the following BTJ Combo classes:

• Mondays 3-5pm
• Tuesdays 3-4pm

This is a contracted position that requires the instructor to assist/substitute these three ballet, tap, and jazz combo classes for ages 3-5 on a weekly basis at our Marana location. We are looking for an instructor who:

• Is reliable, on time, and dedicated to our studio, our shows, our students, and our culture
• Can follow our preschool curriculum and choreograph a routine for our spring recital
• Can offer a positive, educational, and fun classroom experience while maintaining classroom policies
• Has at least three years of dance experience in at least two of the following: ballet, jazz, tap
• Have at least one year of teaching/assisting experience in the dance industry and are fully capable of teaching appropriate technique, vocabulary, and choreography to this age group

Pay may run from $16-$24 per hour. Pay is subjective to years of experience and ability to commit to this position for the duration of the contract.
