Katon Printing is a small but growing printing company located in Ellicott City, MD. We are customer-focused and strive to provide our clients with exceptional service and quality above all else.
Our team is seeking a pre-press specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the printing industry.
Position Description:
- Preflight customer supplied art files
- Generate proofs for customer review
- Make neccesary edits to files as requested
- Prepare and impose files for offset and digtal printing workflows
- Communicate with customers as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Acrobat Professional and Pitstop Pro a must, as well as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Quark Xpress in a Mac-based environment.
- Understanding and implementation of pre-press industry standards and imposition.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Experience operating digital printing equipment and/or performing occasional light typesetting/design work a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
