Job description

New restaurant looking for prep cooks. Opportunity for growth and advancement! Food prep work will be, but not limited to, food preparation, line items stocked, and knife skills for cutting and chopping of vegetables and meats. You are vitally important to ensure we exceed every guest's expectations as they dine with us in the restaurant.

The prep cook is also responsible for:

• Cleanliness of the kitchen
• Following safety and sanitation standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

As a Prep Cook you will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift and preparing food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs.

The Prep Cook is also responsible for:

• Following established food safety guidelines, recipes, standards and procedures
• Maintaining a clean and food-safe environment
• Passionately preparing, portioning, and/or cooking food items according to quality specifications
• Assessing ingredients and items for freshness and quality, rotating product appropriately

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
