Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing, a leader in precision machining, custom robotic automation, and tube end forming equipment, is a diversified, growing, and successful company with a 39-year track record of success and profitability. We are on a journey to improve overall performance through the pursuit of operational and business process excellence.

We are looking for a Senior Precision Machining Estimator to join our growing team. This individual is responsible for preparing final quotes and proposals for the volume machining sector of our business.

Core Responsibilities:

• Estimate cost and lead time of customer components for our precision and volume machining divisions
• Determine best manufacturing processes to achieve desired part dimensions and tolerances
• Collaborate with floor leads as needed for programming, set up, cycle, and labor estimates
• Collaborate with purchasing for materials and outside services estimates
• Collaborate with production manager and purchasing department as needed to determine lead times
• Read and understand blueprints

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of programming and set up experience in a production precision machining environment
• 5+ years of estimating experience
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• High school diploma required
• College degree in business or technical field
• Significant experience accessing and reviewing CAD models in SolidWorks/eDrawings
• Experience working in an ERP environment, preferably with JobBoss
• Strong math skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 365, and Teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
