Position Summary:

The Pre-Construction Services Manager position supports the entire sales team with technical, design support, and architectural information relative to specific client requests, helping to provide a total solution to meet the client needs. This position will also assist with account penetration through Architects and Consulting Engineers (A/E), Construction Managers, Healthcare/Hospital Networks, and will help to cultivate relationships, and create interest and preference for Veritas solutions. Another aspect of this role is to support the Vision and Mission of the Company for sales, branding, profit and market share, while embracing the Core Values of Vision, Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Achieve and Serve.

ACTIVITY - Sales Support:

  • Be an additional, supportive voice for the sales team on their sales calls and proposals to potential clients.
  • Provide the sales team with conceptual and architectural direction for projects.
  • Help support estimating and project definition.
  • Help implement sales events of all types, including webinars and podcasts.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Follow-up with attendees of webinars.
  • Establish and maintain consistent and documented communication with members of the A/E community, webinar attendees, and any other potential customers.
  • Provide potential customer information to sales team and help to create a collaborative solution to meet potential project requirements.
  • Understand and visualize shielding solutions in conjunction with new building designs and existing facilities, and communicate our requirements and how our solution might fit.
  • Evangelize the "Veritas" Mission Statement and the "Why" about our solutions through energizing presentations that solicit positive feedback and a "Can Do" attitude.
  • Travel as required with use of remote communication via phone, email and web-based conferencing.
  • Submit weekly prospect and activity reports.

ACTIVITY - Education of Veritas Solutions:

  • Understand the features and benefits of all product and solution offerings and how to communicate to all levels.
  • Create trainings for the A/E community on Veritas products/solutions following AIA guidelines so that CE Credits can be issued to attendees.
  • Willingness to create internal training programs for the Veritas team as needed.
  • Participate in trade shows, events and any other activities defined and required by management.
  • Focus on assigned activities and goals.

ACTIVITY - Team Veritas:

  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings.
  • Support cross functional team initiatives.
  • Close communication with Sales Team.
  • Serve as brand ambassador of Veritas. Participate in customer visits and create and develop excellent relationships with key contacts in order to develop deeper insights to how we can better support our strategic customers and grow as a dynamic team.
  • Participate in Veritas CARES events when possible.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities; give and welcome feedback, contribute to building positive team spirit; put success of team above own interests.
  • Willingness to perform any and all duties as assigned by leadership to support the team; respectful attitude and professional approach to leadership decisions.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years required / 10 years preferred of construction or architectural experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or experience in related field.
  • Strong field survey skills required, including precise measuring, clear field sketching, and good building/construction photography sense.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (written and oral) with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Client-facing experience required. Must be able to represent the Company brand in a professional manner with unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character; demonstrates high moral and ethical behavior.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic, and analytical skills; ability to be innovative and creative in problem solving with a focus on achieving results.
  • Provides a good balance of risk taking and judgment; confident of own ability.
  • Strong leadership skills, positive attitude, energetic personality, and a servant leadership mindset.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License and Passport. This position involves driving and flying to various locations.
  • Continually required to sit, hear, talk and utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and bend. Occasionally required to stoop or kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
