The Sacco laboratory at SBP is recruiting one postdoctoral researcher to work on projects focused on investigating networks regulating muscle stem cell (MuSC) fate, and understanding interactions between MuSC and their niche as well as other cell types in the tissue microenvironment. The main goal of the Sacco laboratory is to study how skeletal muscle is maintained and how it is compromised in chronic conditions, such as aging or muscle degenerative diseases, and to develop novel therapeutic interventions for these conditions.

Requirements

• PhD in biological or biomedical sciences.
• Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific conferences.
• A strong background or experience in skeletal muscle biology both in vitro and in vivo in animal models is required.

Compensation:

The expected hiring range for this position is $64,480.00 to $73,000, commensurate with experience.
