Postal Shipping Clerk
Company is a full service document management service
Location: Detroit, MI
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 8 am -4:30 pm or 9 am - 5:30 pm
Pay Rate: $16.00
Once hired in there is a 5% shift increase
J ob Summary:
- Postal Shipping Clerk is responsible for processing all outbound fulfillment shipments daily.
- Distribution via mail, UPS, couriers, or carriers.
- Works cooperatively with USPS, logistics companies, managers, client service representatives, data services and production department material handlers to achieve maximum production.
- This position will require moving between the desk in the office and production floor to match up mailing pieces and statements
Job Requirements:
- Excellent organization and administrative skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitasks.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with good working knowledge of Excel.
- This person needs to have a great attention to detail and precision.
- Postal statements are very specific and there will be compliance to learn and master.
- It is collaborative position and requires good sense of urgency and switching priorities.
