Job description
Core Select, Inc. dba Ready Realty has a position open for a Portfolio Manager and/or leasing agent in our expanding business of managing single-family and multi-family homes. This position is for a candidate with proven customer service skills and an Ohio Real Estate license. Personal sales are allowed and encouraged as licensed Realtors.
The Portfolio Manager will be given the tools and training necessary to both manage units and bring on new business to the company.
Duties and Descriptions:
- Be the single point of contact for assigned owners and tenants.
- Conduct inspections and assessments for move-in, move-outs, and additional requests.
- Assist in reviewing and approval of applications.
- Ensure the home is ready for tenant occupation.
- Manage lease showings and marketing efforts.
- Work to rent unoccupied units in a timely manner.
- Procure the lease agreement from new tenants.
- Ensure that the proper documents for a lease signing on file in the owner and tenant Appfolio page.
- Handle any daily issues with the home.
- Work with our maintenance coordination team to be sure all maintenance-related items are resolved and tenants/owners are satisfied.
- Review monthly statements of all assigned owners prior to funds being sent.
- Focus on renewals or pending turnovers with a 90/60/30 day system.
- Communicate with the owner as needed.
- Collect keys and conduct walkthroughs of the home after the tenant vacates.
- Assist with the security deposit Itemization and unit turn for a new tenant.
- Must be dedicated to the profession, with an ambition to grow into a great property manager
Minimum HOURS REQUIRED:
- Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Must handle emergencies during non-business hours as needed.
- Do not need to be in the office each day, but must come in at least 1-2 times per week for update meetings.
- Leasing will often occur off-hours and on weekends, must have a flexible schedule.
COMPENSATION:
- Pay is based upon the number of properties being overseen.
- Iniitial monthly salary will be offered based on experience
- Must be a licensed real estate agent.
