POSITION SUMMARY

Provides floor cleaning and care duties throughout the community in accordance with established state and company regulations and guidelines. Provides a safe and clean environment for the residents, staff, and visitors to the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Clean windows and lights with and without the use of a ladder or telescopic pole.
• Provide floor care to include mopping, buffing, stripping and scrubbing hard floors and shampooing carpets.
• Unload and stock supplies.
• Transport trash to dumpster.
• Flip and turn mattresses using proper body mechanics.
• High dusting with or without the use of a ladder or telescopic pole.
• Clean woodwork.
• Other projects and duties, as assigned.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial floor care and cleaning.
