We are currently seeking a Lifeguard to join the TPC Team!

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety of all swimmers which includes incident prevention, response, and reporting
• Enforcing all Club rules and pool rules while providing a high level of customer service to members and their guests
• Effectively rescue and provide first said whenever necessary
• Performing pool chemical testing
• Keeping pool and pool areas clean which requires vacuuming and netting out leaves
• Maintaining all pool logs
• Performing routine maintenance tasks as needed
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned by Supervisor as needed
• Acting as part of the TPC team which includes attending staff meetings

Requirements

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (Club can provide as needed)
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (Club can provide as needed)
• High level of responsibility and accountability
• Upbeat, polite, and friendly personality
• Ability to pass a background check
• Swim 300 yards continuously using breast or front crawl
• Swim 20 yards within 1 minute, 40 seconds
• Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only
• Surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object. Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point
• Exit the water without using a ladder or steps

Compensation & Benefits
