Quapaw Baths & Spa is currently looking for full time pool attendants interested in working 36-40 hours a week. Applicant must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and have excellent work ethic.

We are a modern day spa located in a historic bathhouse built in 1922. Our public pool area contains 4 thermal water pools all containing the Hot Springs thermal water. Employees are allowed to use these pools on their days off at no cost as long as we are not at capacity.

Pool Attendants must ensure a safe and clean environment for both staff and guests in our public pool area and locker rooms connected to it. We must make sure that guests are comfortable and enjoying their visit. This is a customer service job. You will be required to speak to customers, answer any questions they may have, let them know our safety rules for the pool area, and check in on them frequently to meet their needs (get them a cup of water, another towel, or maybe suggest they go into a cooler pool for a little bit). Our public pools range from 95-104 degrees.

This is a tipped position. You will make an hourly rate plus tips. What you put into the position is what you get out of it.

You will also get trained to work our private bath area. Our private baths are by reservation. We have two different jetting systems that we offer and aromatherapy options to add to the private baths. They also include the Hot Springs thermal water.

CPR certification is not a requirement. We do annually certify pool attendants in CPR. We only ask that candidates are reliable, able to stand for long periods of time, enjoy working in a customer service environment, and eager to learn.

COVID-19 considerations:
We have decreased our limit that we allow in the public pools at one time from 95 people to 40 people. Employees are required to wipe down tables and chairs often.
