Gas Plumbing Services, Inc. is a leading gas contractor throughout Central Florida. We are located in Lake Helen right off I-4 between DeLand and Deltona. We are looking to add an Apprentice to our team. Plumbing experience and/or experience with Natural Gas and/or Propane is a plus!

*We are also accepting applications for qualified pipefitters at this time with a minimum of 5yrs of gas experience.

We are looking for a full time employee at 40 hrs per week. We offer paid holidays and paid vacation for full-time employees.
-Over-time available to technicians that are interested

Typical Job Duties:

• Measuring, cutting and threading galvanized steel
• Water heater changeouts (tank or tankless)
• PE underground gas line installation
• Venting water heaters and fireplaces (pvc or metal)
• Install fireboxes
• Connect gas to customer supplied, ranges, HVAC, BBQ grills and dryers

Requirements:

Ability to work outside in the heat
Lifting 50 pounds or more
Comfortable making measurements and working with all types of tools
Ability to work well under limited supervision
A valid driver’s license
MUST pass drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
