Position Summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. This position will be responsible for both preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance work and minimal installations with our client.

Essential Job Functions

· Assist and support senior plumbers with basic system installations, repair and maintenance.

· Take directions from or under the supervision of senior plumbers.

· Assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, and dishwashers.

· Assist with the installation, repairs, and maintenance of valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metal, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.

· Daily activities include but are not limited to drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, repair and installation of drain waste and vent (DWV), installing toilets, water lines, P-Traps, repair of water leaks, repair/replacement of valves, faucets, and sinks.

· Assist in troubleshooting malfunctions and hazards.

· Oversees the management and maintenance of tools and inventory.

· Be able to recognize safety hazards and communicate them to senior staff.

· Prepare site prior to beginning of project and remove un-used materials, dirt, and debris when job is complete.

· Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Education

High School diploma or GED required

Experience and Qualifications

· 2-3 years of plumbing experience preferred.

· Commercial experience or institutional experience of any kind is a plus.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Complete all written documentation required for compliance with CMMS system.

· Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed.

· Must provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of our client.

· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
