Plant Quality Manager Summary:
Plant Quality Managers are responsible for all quality deliverables. They will establish and review annual quality improvement plans and plant operational plans. They are responsible for continuous improvement in key performance measures and customer satisfaction for their assigned area.

Job Responsibilities of Plant Quality Managers:

  • Ensure that all QE deliverables (e.g., Quality Objectives, MSAs, Control Plans, Part Inspections, Capability Studies, and Customer PPAPs) are accurately completed on time.
  • Develop key customer relationships in the supplier quality area to ensure our launches are successful.
  • Maintain compliance with TS 16949 Quality System policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks and issues for the successful execution of our launches by developing key internal relationships.
  • Manage the QE resource budget and staffing needs, participate in the interview process, and add resources as needed.
  • Execute individual development plans and performance reviews for each QE.
  • Participate actively in program reviews and phase exit reviews.
  • Perform a monthly assessment of all PLUS QE deliverables for the programs within their sphere of influence.
  • FMEA's, PPAP's, Dimensional layouts, gage/fixture design, and performance/material testing are all included in Advanced Quality Planning.
  • Concepts and methods of advanced statistics, design of experiments, and problem-solving.
  • Responsible for leading the quality function within their area of responsibility, usually providing direct leadership to quality engineers.
  • Oversees a wide range of responsibilities.
  • Ensure proper customer relationships through excellent communication skills.
  • Complies with company safety regulations and enforces compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $137,453.08 - $144,519.22 per year
