SUMMARY:
Grover Gaming Printing is a new vertical at Grover Gaming. The Plant Manager is responsible for standing up this new venture and leading the team going forward. This position requires a candidate that is energetic and enjoys the challenges associated with building a new business. Experience with team building, defining processes, safety, problem solving, machinery and lean principles are some of the skills that the ideal candidate will possess.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
  • Building and leading the production team
  • Developing and implementing SOPs
  • Ensure safety is met throughout the plant
  • Collect and review data to identify & reduce inefficiencies
  • Build training programs for team members
  • Managing supplies and suppliers
  • Manage production
  • Problem solving
  • Quality Control
  • Create and manage budgets
  • Monthly reporting to leadership
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Management, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years management experience
  • Flow to work as needed which at times might require extended hours or work on weekends
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with numerous interruptions
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, listening, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • MS Office applications and using computers
  • Ability to meet deadlines


Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of print production: digital printing, die-cutting and/or packaging solutions
  • Six Sigma certification
