As Plant Manager you’ll be responsible to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes in the Plant.

What you’ll do

Lead all entities of the plant in collaboration with department managers (Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance) and other stakeholders and Drive the digitization transformation of the plant and other continuous improvement efforts to achieve best in class results for productivity, cost of non-quality, product quality and LEAN.

Lead operational activities related to manufacturing and deliveries of goods and services according all Signify standards and local legal requirements (including quality standards, environmental regulations) and Maintain, implement and improve quality management systems (e.g. ISO – FDA – OHSAS)

Manage and coordinate the necessary internal and external relationships (unions / suppliers/ certification bodies/ “local’ governments etc.); Manage a team of direct reports

Manage the business in line with the Integrity Code, PSCS, Values and rules stipulated in Signify Company Manual, all relevant internal instructions and legislation in the country and Focus on business results, realizes annual productivity targets and sets longer term directions; collaborate with business units on longer term cost roadmap

Define and drive productivity improvement, incl. pipeline, high fluctuation of demand, low orderbook visibility, availability of labor and components and Build customer insight to understand customers’ requirements; Deploy customer NPS and define improvement activities to meet customer expectations and Create an environment where openness, transparency, Signify’s business ethics, diversity, and inclusion are embedded throughout the whole organization.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years minimum experience in plant management (including experience with unionized plants)
- Good problem-solving abilities and experience with LEAN methods/tools
- Knowledge of environmental safety and quality regulations
- Inspirational leader with experience managing people
