Scope:
The PXM System Administrator owns the day-to-day management of the Product Experience Management platform, including rolling out processes and procedures, to analyzing and prioritizing content gaps for Strategy/Syndication teams. This role will maintain data enrichment workflows, syndication channels, and data integrations within the platform, along with typical administrative duties including Users maintenance, training, and liaising with the business on process changes/updates. The administrator will have governance responsibility for Global product data within the platform, ensuring clean and monitored content focused on the Customer First.

Key high-level Compliance deliverables will include:

• Responsible for making adjustments or recommended enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
• Problems and issues faced are general and may require understanding of broader set of issues but typically are not complex. Problems may require understanding of other job areas. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue.
• Collaborate with product, content and sales team to develop best practices and provide feedback.
• Manages ongoing operations and support of data management (data assets, data policy adherence, data quality, etc.), primarily focused on ensuring critical operational data is well organized and optimized to support the day-to-day business.
• Manage new requirements, business priorities and platform roadmap.
• Become a Product Experience Management Platform (Salsify) expert and deliver Global training sessions on the platform around new and existing functionality as necessary.
• Administrate the Product Experience Management Platform (Salsify), including overall Data Governance, User Administration, Catalog/Channel maintenance, and User Interface updates.
• Develop a strong command of the digital commerce industry landscape.
• Drive organizational change in support of digital commerce strategy.
• Collaborate with Salsify Customer Success team to identify and evaluate opportunities to take advantage of new Salsify product features and services.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Labor Category – non-exempt
• Expected schedule –8 hour daily schedule 8:30am and 5pm – can have with start/end time.
• Position eligible for remote/hybrid working arrangement
• Overtime as required

Travel:

• Minimal travel, occasional into Jamestown NY or Sherbrooke Qc offices

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience required.
• Experience with Salsify Product Experience Management platform very strongly preferred. Will accept candidates with significant experience and proven success in the rollout and administration of a similar Product Information Management System.
• Experience working within a Global function, driving results cross-functionally, and working across and up within a business organization.
• Demonstrated ability as a complex problem-solver, building strategic and resource-friendly solutions to modern eCommerce/Digital Shelf problems.
• Experience building integrations between eCommerce Platforms, Shopify+ preferred, and Product Experience Management Platform (Salsify).
• Strong knowledge of data management and configuration
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst or similar role preferred.
• Experience working with eCommerce vendors (Wayfair, Amazon, Shopify, Overstock).

Competencies/Skills:

• Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/ assignments.
• Furniture product knowledge and furniture industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Advanced excel experience, familiar with formulas and data analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
