Pilot – Production Flight Test & Delivery

JOB SUMMARY:
This is an entry level Pilot position for the Production Flight Test & Delivery organization located in Independence, KS. The candidate will be responsible for flight operations dispatched out of the Independence facility. These flight operations will include: Relocation, exercise, training, crew movement, production flight activity and demo support as needed. The candidate will have limited exposure to Production Flight Test activity until the time comes when their flight time and experience level is more in line with that of qualified production flight test crew members. This is an Independence Ks. based position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations. Complies with all regulations and local operating procedures.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of appropriate aircraft models, systems, avionics, equipment, options, product changes ang updates.
- Attend training as required. Training will include: Initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, and other training as deemed necessary by management.
- Perform office tasks such as expense report and flight log preparation, flight planning, aircraft flight manual and approach plate updates, and other tasks normally associated with day-to-day flight operations.
- Performsall flight activity assigned by Flight Operations Leadership
- Adhere to and support Flight Operations policies, procedures, guidelines and responsibilities.
- Communicate with and ensure department personnel are aware of noteworthy issues.
- Maintains safety as the prime consideration for all operations at all times.
- Adapt to dynamic flight schedules.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate with Instrument Rating required
QUALIFICATONS:
- FAA Flight Instructor Certificate preferred
- 500 hours total pilot time, 100 hours multi-engine preferred
- FAA class 1 medical certificate or the ability to obtain required
- US Passport or ability to successfully obtain is required
- Strong technical background
