Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to treat and work with the employees and families (ages 2+) of Charlotte County Public Schools at their employer-sponsored health and wellness center in Port Charlotte, FL.
This is a 40 hour per week position. No on-call. We offer excellent salary and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, HSA, malpractice, CME assistance, life and disability, paid time off and holidays.
Hours: M, Tu, Weds 6am-6pm / Sat 8am-12pm

Responsibilities:
The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical staff within the Marathon Health Center. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.Qualifications:

The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Physician Assistant within a primary care/family practice setting
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Current and unrestricted state licensure
