Physical Therapy Aide
Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physical Therapy Aide who is motivated to help patients regain their ability to function in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will be trained in assisting with physical therapy and patient care activities as well as performing clerical duties (such as filing, copying and faxing).
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapist as needed with the care of patients.
- Adhere to established safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents in the physical therapy department.
- Assist as needed with performing administrative tasks such as photocopying, answering phones, scheduling patients, collecting payments.
- Clean and maintain equipment and treatment rooms, wiping down beds after use and changing linens
- Direct patients to treatment rooms
- Teach and provide patients with home exercises and stretching techniques, documenting in patient charts.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
