Job description
Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
- Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
- Recommend membership in related professional organization.
- Clinical Specialists require national certification in specialty area by professional organization.
Additional Information:
Casual position in acute care- working in multiple areas of hospital including general med/surgical, tele, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. Schedule requires a minimum of 2 weekend days per month; opportunities to fill in on week days and holidays as needed if interested. Acute care experience required.
