Job Summary/Overview

Be part of a team that maintains and improves highly complicated photolithography equipment in a fast-paced environment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-level equipment problems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals
  • Log data accurately and promptly for all assignments
  • Document and communicate all equipment activities for the shift during pass down
  • Follow, generate, and maintain integrity of SOPs
  • Work with equipment vendors, senior personnel, and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance
  • Train junior technicians as needed.

The individual must be able to problem solve and understand details of the photolithography system to be able to resolve unscheduled events. Effective communication, problem solving, and teamwork are key attributes an individual must possess.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Practice 6S methodology
  • PM activities on photolithography scanner systems
  • Data analysis to identify tool performance

  • High level of initiative and desire to learn
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required

  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent Semiconductor/Electronics/Mechanical experience (3+ years experience in Photolithography Equipment Engineering Services)
  • Military background (if applicable)



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

  • ASML / Nikon scanner or stepper tool experience
  • Familiar with Clean Room Environment
  • Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Certifications.
