Position Summary
Phone triage nurse will assist with all aspects of patient care. Job duties centered around answering patient questions through the telephone and patient portal application, refilling prescriptions, and precertification of procedures as needed. Other duties may include charting in EMR, gathering medical records, assisting providers with documentation requirements and direct clinical patient care. Experience with EMR, MS Office and working in a team environment preferred.

Licenses/Certifications Required unencumbered RN License

Specific Educational & Skills Competencies Required The ability to operate standard nursing practices, as usually demonstrated by completion of a licensed practical nurse program and obtainment of AR licensure. This position must have effective communication skills with patients, co-workers, supervisor and physicians. This person must have good problem-solving skills and utilize professional knowledge in this process. This position must be able to prioritize clinic/patients needs and assist in other areas as requested.
