We are looking for Pharmacy Technicians to join our teams in Washington's Puget Sound Region. We have opportunities in Tacoma, Puyallup, Auburn, Covington, and Olympia. If you are looking for a great opportunity with a to mission-driven organization, we want to hear from you!
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician assists in performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions associated with the practice of pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This is a staff level position working under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Work situations are a variety of routine duties and functions that require organization and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of Vocational/Technical School
- Experience in hospital pharmacy or allied health fields preferred
- MultiCare offers are contingent upon COVID-19 vaccination. The only exemptions/accommodations will be for documented medical history or conditions for which COVID immunization is contraindicated or religious/strongly held personal beliefs.
Education/Licenses/Certifications
- Successful completion of WA Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Current Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
- Successful Completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program preferred.
- Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving records in accordance with MHS standards (for MMA positions).
