The PGIM Fixed Income Operational Risk Management team is seeking a manager who will primarily be responsible for the organization’s third-party risk management (TPRM) / vendor governance (VG) program. The candidate will act as a VG subject matter expert, providing advice and guidance to Accountable Executives and Vendor Engagement Managers, to ensure compliance with Corporate Standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The individual will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts within Information Security, Business Continuation, Privacy, Records Management, Compliance, Technology, Sourcing & Procurement, Operations & Systems Law, etc. to mitigate third party risk. In addition, the individual will be responsible for collaborating closely with other control functions to promote operational risk awareness and partner on key risks and initiatives.

The Operational Risk Management team is a dynamic group that collaborates with all areas of PGIM; in turn creating a myriad of learning opportunities and a collaborative culture. Responsibilities span all our products and markets while we serve as an internal business partner to aid in processes and controls; as well as help improve our systems that deliver accuracy, efficiency, and the overall integrity to our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the PGIM Fixed Income Vendor Governance (VG) Program and processes with evolving business needs
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to identify and address key third party related risks and areas of concerns associated with new and existing third-party relationships
  • Enable and oversee successful vendor management oversight for PGIM Fixed Income
  • Develop and support VG reporting processes via data analytics and metrics
  • Lead or participate in vendor related projects.
  • Communicate and coordinate meetings with service providers and key constituents (e.g., Law, Risk Mgmt., Compliance, Information Security, etc.), drive VG processes through to execution.
  • Conducting training to ensure TPRM awareness
  • Ensuring Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (“GRC”) vendor inventory system data integrity
  • Establishing strong partnerships with the business and corporate functions to ensure effective planning and collaboration on third party risk management related matters

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

The salary range for this role is from $110,000 to $148,700. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
