Our Technology Solutions Group is a dynamic, fast-paced agile environment, with exciting changes on the horizon under new senior leadership. We are looking for you to build out scalable applications to support our Portfolio Admin, Securities Lending, Bond Operations, Derivative Support and Onboarding and Cash Flow Management teams. You will need to have in-depth technical knowledge as a full-stack Java developer and should feel comfortable working within large internal and external data sets. Your Impact:

  • Develop quality front-end and back-end applications in an agile environment and create prototypes and POCs (Proof of Concept) to validate, promote, and define the technology strategies.
  • Align with the Solution Lead, Product Owner and Scrum Master in assessing business needs and transforming them into scalable applications.
  • Work in an iterative/Agile environment as a good team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Build and maintain code to manage data received from heterogenous data formats including web-based sources, internal/external databases, flat files, heterogenous data formats (binary, ASCII).
  • Hands on coding in technologies such as Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Hibernate, Node.js, Javascript, Typescript, Angular 2+, SQL, JSON, REST API, Docker and AWS environment
  • Research emerging technologies and develop POC’s
  • Work with the latest CI/CD DevOps deployment model
  • Build interfaces for supporting evolving and new applications and accommodating new data sources and types of data.

Your Required Skills:

  • 4 + years hands on experience in Java, SQL, modern DevOps for developers (i.e., Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Gradle, Jenkins, Git)
  • Hands on development experience in UI/UX development using JavaScript, Typescripts, Angular 1- 2 years' experience with Web Components, Spring web services, Node.js, HTML5 and SASS/CSS3
  • Cloud experience working with AWS S3/EC2/SQS
  • Excel + VBA
  • Direct experience supporting front office end-users and sound understanding of capital markets within Fixed Income.
  • Familiarity with security concepts authentication, authorization, and SSL
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience providing ongoing support for a wide range of technological solutions

Your Desired Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience developing solutions in BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

The salary range for this role is from $90,000 to $135,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement
