Magic of Paws LLC of North Yarmouth, ME is ready to hire a part-time or full-time Pet Services Reservation Specialist / Administrative Assistant to join our team and help us care for our clients and their pets. As a Pet Services Reservation Specialist / Administrative Assistant, you can expect to earn $13.00/hour and will enjoy receiving excellent benefits and perks including paid time off (PTO) to everyone regardless of whether they are full-time or part-time, an employee discount on all of our services, and opportunities for advancement. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PET SERVICES RESERVATION SPECIALIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Our Pet Services Reservation Specialist is the face of our business! Your friendly demeanor helps clients feel welcome and comfortable when leaving their pets in our care. Whether answering the phone or greeting those who come through our doors, you are mindful of keeping a smile on your face and a positive demeanor in all of your interactions. When checking clients and their pets in, you are intentional to use their names and answer any and all questions they may have about our services. You complete your administrative assistant duties by inventorying our retail products and process invoices, payments, and enrollments. You also keep a clean and tidy workspace.

On top of any administrative duties, you work hard to ensure our clients feel comfortable when allowing us to care for their pets. You give tours of our facilities and utilize your knowledge to answer any questions regarding our services, policies, and procedures. You emulate our company's values and standards as we seek to provide exceptional care and promote overall pet wellness. When opportunities arise, you help clients purchase additional services and/or products that would benefit them. You are sure to thank our clients, and their pets, for spending time with us!

Finally, you utilize your customer service skills each day when you come into contact with clients! When conflicts arise, you are diligent to remain calm and empathetic, and seek to resolve any issues. You take pride in your role as you help contribute to our team while helping us achieve our goal of providing excellent pet care for our clients!


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of customer service and administrative experience
  • Must have a typing speed of 40 mph or higher
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Love for animals

WORK SCHEDULE

The work schedule for this entry-level administrative position is incredibly flexible. We are open 7 days a week from 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM, so we are happy to work around someone's needs and can accommodate both full-time and part-time schedules. We are open on holidays, so you must be able to work whatever holiday falls on your regularly scheduled days.
