Overview:
The Field Support Center Personnel Team Supervisor shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.

This position leads the team of personnel representatives in the Field Support Center, ensuring quality personnel support for the field. The team leader also performs personnel tasks alongside the personnel team members as needed.
Responsibilities:
Personnel Function [50%]
  • Track and report measurable data for personnel team in completion of tasks and customer service for purposes of process improvement.
  • Ensure operational quality and efficiency, within the operational budget, by serving as a liaison for issues between HQ and the field, partnering with other leadership in the organization, and by creating and implementing solutions to solve system and service issues.
  • Manage Field Staff Funding Policy: Oversee and ensure completion of all monthly Funding Policy reports, communications to staff/supervisors/mission leaders, and corresponding salary changes.
  • Serve as Personnel Representative as needed to process onboarding, collect and send documents/reports, and other FSC Personnel processes.

Leadership and Supervision [40%]
  • Train current and new FSC (Field Support Center) Personnel team members in processes and procedures related to FSC Personnel Team function
  • Manage priorities, performance, and development of team members.

Additional Responsibilities [10%]
  • Maintain regular communication with supervisor for operational responsibilities and workload management.
  • Attend FSC meetings as required
  • Attend field meetings and events/conferences as appropriate to build rapport whenever possible
  • Participate in Navigators on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
  • Participate in the annual, organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR) process.
  • Submit and allocate ministry expenses to appropriate cost centers
  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators. Knowledge of Navigator missions, ministries, and networks preferred.

Experience:
This role requires strong organization & time management skills with an emphasis on customer service. 3 years of personnel administration experience strongly preferred.

Technical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency. Ability to learn new software applications as necessary. Independent problem-solving skills required.

Communication & Leadership:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required. Must be able to manage the work of others.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or college coursework or work experience preferred.

Compensation Range: $51,000 to 67,000/year
