Job description

Looking for for a Bay Area-based, detail-oriented personal assistant who has good problem-solving skills. I am an investor in startups and also start companies, and I travel a lot. Duties would include:

- Making travel arrangements

- Planning and carrying out social events (movie showings, fundraisers, get-togethers, Burning Man camp, etc.)

- Being the point of contact when I'm out of cellular reception range

- Personal tasks such as taking car in to get serviced

In addition, there will be some Executive Assistant work for some of my companies.

$30-50/hr. About 10 h of work per week anticipated, but can vary. Availability to answer emergency texts or emails at any time is required, although that will be rare. Car is not necessary, since I live close to the subway, but a clean driving record is.

In this position, you should feel comfortable coordinating calendar appointments, managing communications, and planning events, as necessary.

• Attention to detail
• Problem solving abilities (ability to figure out tasks you've never done before)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while staying organized
• 24/7 availability for emergencies (this will be rare, but if I am traveling in another time zone and I need something urgently, I will need you to be available)
