Job description

Responsible for serving as the student face of the entire Pepsi brand at KU. Works with the KU Memorial Unions Marketing, Media, and Programs staff to promote Pepsi brand through campus events, social media, and in-person connections. This is a part-time, student position.

Receives direct supervision from the Marketing, Media, and Programs Office

Essential Functions
1. Promote brand awareness and the Pepsi experience, including all the brands that Pepsi represents. Serve as KU’s face of the brand.
2. Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions. Provide feedback to the marketing and programs departments regarding customers’ insights and questions.
3. Coordinate brand activations and campaigns, including event planning and execution. Operate within the full brand ambassador team to ensure staffing needs are met.
4. Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization and with external partners to create and execute integrated marketing plans, including utilization of online media, creating digital content, and more.
5. Stay informed of Pepsi products, services, and initiatives to be able to fully inform potential customers.
6. Utilize word-of-mouth marketing techniques. Make campus connections with student groups, departments, and more to discover additional brand avenues.


Additional Responsibilities

1. Is a reliable source for patron information regarding KU and KU Memorial Union areas.
2. Maintains an organized and professional working environment.
3. Meets monthly or as needed with Marketing, Media, and Programs staff, keeping supervisor informed of scheduling needs.
4. Provides specific event support as needed.
5. Other duties as assigned.
