About the position:

We're looking for a PC Technician tosupport the IT Help Desk by investigating and resolving computer software and hardware issues for Raymond's internal PC users.

You will:

• Provide technical support by applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to staff in-person or via call center.
• Provide escalation support to other IT members.
• Respond, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Complete a detailed description of each resolution in ticketing system to reference when similar problems arise.
• Perform software and hardware upgrades.
• Configure new equipment with the requested software.
• Test, monitor, and repair equipment.
• Maintain contact with outside organizations regarding the maintenance and service of equipment.
• Remain current with industry standards through internal and external training programs.
• Collaborate with Service Desk to create support documents and improve service levels.
• Provide project support for IT organization.

About the schedule:

We have two shift options available:

• First shift – Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with a weekend/evening call rotation.
• First shift – 4 consecutive days, 10 hours per day; 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday plus 2 days wrapped around the weekend (to be determined based on discussions with candidate and business need).

About you:

• Three months of related experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with a variety of people and be able to describe technical information to individuals inside and/or outside the Company.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Good analytical skills are required to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues.

It would be great if you had:

• Inquisitiveness and openness to learn.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of computer and peripheral equipment, network and computer operating systems (e.g. Windows family, Linux, and Mac OS X).

About the total compensation package:
Wage-Starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19 - $20 per hour, depending on qualifications of selected candidate.
